The hotel has an impressive and spacious bathroom with a large tub.
I was shocked by the rude behavior of the staff at check-in, who shouted at guests, including us. The kettle in our room didn't work, and when we reported it, they didn't replace it or apologize. To top it off, we were wrongfully threatened over the kettle they misplaced after we checked out!

Spacious room with a large bathroom featuring a decent-sized bathtub. comfortable bedding. It's a perfect retreat after a day out in the surrounding area, creating a nice, quiet atmosphere.
Noise from machines outside can be noticeable when trying to sleep, which may not suit those sensitive to sound. The breakfast resembled a set menu rather than a buffet, lacking variety and being quite basic, which may leave guests wanting more options to choose from. The shower nozzle was small, and towels were thinner than standard hotel towels, which detracted from the overall comfort.

The Standard Twin Room was spacious and clean, with a surprisingly huge toilet! Love that we got to wear yukata around. The location in Gion made everything super convenient, only a short walk to popular spots. The beds were comfy, which made resting easy after a long day. The only downside was that the room felt a bit old, but it was all good overall!

The hotel has an excellent location right next to Gion Shijo subway. I appreciated the peaceful ambience of the little laneway leading to the property. The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious with a beautiful view of the mountains, which exceeded my expectations.
